How you show them is up to you. There are many methods.
Your ego could be the problem.
You could be one of those people that have a story in your head.
If your reality doesn’t reflect it, you’re upset.

We all fall into the trap of wanting others to think highly of us, in whatever realm we deem significant.
People’s perceptions guide what they think of you.
